It's easy to get to Bendigo by train - the express service is just under 90 minutes! Train Timetables available here.

Once you arrive in Bendigo, catch the Route 5/Zone 13 bus to Kangaroo Flat from the Bendigo Train Station and get off at Stop 5: High Str/Violet Str. It is only an 8 minute journey and the bus stop is located at Central Deborah Gold Mine. Buses leave half hourly during the week and hourly on weekends.

From Melbourne there are 20 train services a day midweek, 15 on Saturdays and 12 on Sundays. You'll pass through Gisborne, Macedon, Woodend, Kyneton, Malmsbury and Castlemaine, so you might just need to plan a longer trip!
