You will experience what conditions as a miner were really like during the harsh gold rush era, find out what was involved in unearthing the 929kg of gold that was discovered at Central Deborah Gold Mine, witness traditional mining equipment in action and see gold in its natural state!
Your ticket also includes access to Explore the Surface of the mine. Dominated by a huge 22 metre high poppet head, the surface of the mine is a highlight in itself. Step inside heritage-listed buildings which were essential to the mine’s operation, including the old Blacksmith's Shop, the First Aid Room, Carbide Lamp Room and the impressive Engine Room.
